(Bugs)

  1. For those not regularly using Bluetooth PAN connections, the default connection should be possible to disable.
  2. The java- implementation seems to have problems using the priority- system in the connection- manager.
  3. The password and user- name dialogue for proxy- servers fail to pop up when using java- applications connecting out.
  4. Connection woes. Skipping to flight- mode while gprs- connections are alive will hang the connection- manager and force a reboot (unknown if imap idle is connected to this problem, or if it will be the same as long as any application requested a connection in the background).

(Feature requests)

  1. More predictable connection- management. It seems it should be possible, on the existing options, to for instance "prefer" a group called wifi connections, and then add any hotspots to this group. And then expect the phone to choose "gprs" when wifi is turned off, or the wifi connections fail. But what happens is that the phone appears to choose the groups at random if - for one reason or another - the wifi doesn't find the server it's supposed to. After that, there appears to be no way to allow or force the phone to change the group again. Leaving the user with the option of having one group for internet- connections, and to add all wifi- hotspots to that group. And then manually close the gprs connections once the wifi- connection fails. Possibly a way to choose "retry as long as signal strength on wifi- net exists", or something of that sort, would be helpful.
  2. A PPTP client is really needed. Should be simple enough..
